About
I am a jeweller and painter, I studied in Sydney and often still work there. i spend much of my time in my studio in Kapiti and am influenced hugely by my environment that surounds me.
Painting and me
Painting has become a huge part of my art practice over the last 7 or so years. I love mixing genres together, like putting a nude in a landscape or seascape. or a still life in a landscape. Sometimes I also blend jewellery and painting. As always, my evironment plays a role as my inspiration for much of my work.
Jewellery
Jewellery was my first love as an art form. I have made it since I was a teenager. I majored in it at Uni. I love using found objects that people would not necasarily associate with jewellery, and turn them into loved tressures.

Memory jewellery
I love working with clients to turn their special tresures into 'memory jewellery'. Often people will bring me pieces of broken china, or coins or anything really thats special to them. They can be tresures that remind them of a loved one passed or present. I often make bracelets or necklaces out of them.
